Shadows of Childhood
In a desperate bid to get out of the house today we went to Petersfield for a day out.
We had to get out as the little ones were both hot wired. Sleep deprivation is clearly affecting us grown ups more than baby, as he has, in the last few days achieved an even greater volumne. Yes he goes up to eleven.
As for toddler, well at the moment she is like the old micro machines advert, only louder.
In Petersfield we wandered round for a bit and then went to the Heath. Which had a park similar to one when I was a child, all metal horses, fast roundabouts and a giant slide. Even though I had already taken toddler to swimming and another park in the morning she was desperate to get into this one.
We then started out on a walk only for her to decide that she needed to go back to the park for more. Then back home for dinner, bath and bed.
At no point today did they slow down. They are now both recharging for the night and us adults are ruined, and we still don't have a plan of what to do tomorrow.
