Walkies

I met up with friends today in the village of Ellesmere in Shropshire. We did what is essentially a figure 8 around the two meres of The Mere and Cole Mere, returning by way of the Llangollen Canal.
It was a beautiful day and lots of people were out walking around these popular meres and the boating fraternity was out in force along the canal. There was even a mini-queue to go under bridge 55.
