and finally we have Water on Tap

Living in our wooden cabin (see previous entries) over the summer, I realised what a luxury water on tap can be. Having to carry all water requirements a couple of hundred metres meant that you really appreciate every drop. It's not quite running water at the sink, but now we only have to carry water for washing up and washing ourselves a few feet - and boy does it make a difference. We still have to carry in drinking water but life is much more comfortable with "water on tap".
