Don't Ever Tease A Spider

As they get REALLY angry! Soon after this shot was taken it launched itself onto my camera & tried to attack it! I told it I wasn't doing it any harm - ok I may have interrupted it's lunch of rolled up grasshopper (I kid you not) but I was only trying out the macro lens again! lol

The garden is covered in garden spiders, they're markings are so intricate & beautiful, I'm beginning to recognise them all as individuals & feel sad when their web is destroyed or they've disappeared from the spot I saw them last - listen to me, I'm getting soppy over spiders now! haha
