Wind's back!
A cloudy morning with scattered showers and a F5-6 W'ly wind. The showers becoming frequent and heavy by the afternoon as winds veer WNW to NW'ly and increase F6-7, locally gale F8. At times showers may turn wintry with hail and the risk of thunder later.
Mad weather today, it blew fast so quickly we didn't know whether to wear sunglasses or wooly hats. Hedged our bets and went for both.
It settled down eventually to a perfect night for a bonfire. Wet, windy, hail, and all at around 3°. Didn't deter Campbell and Steven who headed off to a neighbours for some fireworks this evening. Arrow and I stayed in, cosied up in front of the fire, eating chocolate and blipping.
