Lights, razor wire and action
The nights are fair drawing in which is something which I actually quite like. In a nice warm house, outside the north wind is very cold and I have to point out that previously in our kitchen you could actually see outside even with the door shut. Now however it is just so quiet and not cold. We did wonder from time to time earlier on in the year if we hadn't left the oven on for some reason it was that uncold would be the accurate term.
Another old acquaintance who I haven't seen for about 18 years was in touch today, very nice to chat, we are to meet up in a couple of weeks.
Today was not a fantastic day, we learned that a very dear friend of friends passed away. Madame was at a service to mark her passing.
Tonight we have half of the children in our street or so it would appear to watch a film, I cancelled the sleepover, I love the way the girls are trying to start to manipulate me, sometimes it humours me, other times when very tired I just have to ignore, one day they will understand. Madame is at a concert tonight, third night out in a row may I say, just call me Home Alone.
So the question today is why in our local industrial estate next to Acme Towers, do they have the lights on all day? I didn't bother asking.
