Fireworks and Bonfires

Well its the 5th November.................the day for fireworks and bonfires.

And that is what we had in our house today.

My son managed to fry 2 laptops today.

The first one had gone POP last night and he said smelt a bit. So this morning I opened it up and removed the battery - gave it a good clean and a poke and put it back to gether again. It fired up and ran for nearly an hour before doing it again.

The second one he plugged in and almost instantly there was smoke pouring out of it...........a lot of smoke.

I suspect that he had the wrong voltage set on the transformer.

He will now expect me to buy him a new laptop......................that will be another special day. The one when HELL FREEZES OVER
