Emma Has Arrived!

Our lovely friend Emma (the elf) arrived today, and to celebrate, we went for our first proper meal in a dimly lit, sit on the floor Japanese restaurant!

The staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was great.
We had our first taste of REAL sake (which, unlike the paint thinner I have tried in the UK, was actually lovely), mushroom steaks, 1000 year old Chinese eggs (which were green and black) and salmon which you can see here being blow torched at our table!
