Watching over
It's late afternoon in this shot. We're out monitoring one the cliffs on the Western(ish) part of the island.
Earlier in the day (sunrise) I was filming a Honey Buzzard with a damaged leg, as I filmed it is shot, but not killed continues out to sea. It would not have been able to hunt with it's already wounded leg, now it's been weakened more it will probably not make the Tunisian Coast over 288km away.
Thankfully a storm over the Med that day meant that fewer birds came in, but that means that we can expect more tonight as the weather improves and the Raptors make an attempt at the crossing.
I'll be posting footage of the bird being shot later (if the wifi holds out)
