Shingle Street, Suffolk

Todays walk took us from the village of Hollesley onto the "Suffolk Coast Path". This path follows the coastline passed Shingle Street and also along the River Ore until we reached the River Butley. We followed this river until we reached Butley ferry and turned inland into "Rendlesham Forest" where the UFO's were supposed to have landed! We did not spot anything suspicious but it was rather erie as this is a very dark and dense forest once you walk off the trails. We left the forest unscathed and completed the walk back at Hollesley.
The walk was 13 miles in total, a good day out in some beautiful countryside.
