Red stickered house- earthquake kiss of death

Looking at this house you can see some damage, cracked path and drive etc. Looking closely you can see the house has been shifted off its foundation. On the window the dreaded red sticker.

Probably the hosue will have to be demolished and lifetimes and history will go with it - just a very ordinary suburban house, but someone's home and sanctuary for years, destroyed in a few violent seconds.

It makes you feel so sad as you go along the road looking at the houses - some green stickered - hopefully safe and to be saved, some yellow stickered, the jury is still out, and some red stickered, the kiss of death. The break up of a whole community.

Meanwhile those still able to live in their houses still have no water and no sewerage. And the silt that came from the liquefaction is now said to be contaminated.
