Autumn is definitely here - these are pretty, aren't they?
I went to my second Japanese lesson tonight. Today we learnt about how to ask questions (seems to be very straightforward - you just add 'ka' to the end of a sentence. And I learnt how to say that I am a librarian: Watashiwa toshokan no sensei desu. Although that is literally translated as I am a library teacher, so the tutor said she'd try and find a better translation for me. Any ideas, Adam? We also started learning the hiragana writing today, which I need to practise, practise, practise this week.
I got home after that to find that my lounge is considerably tidier than yesterday - Paul has done a good job in packing more of his stuff into boxes before he heads off for Falmouth on Saturday. It's gonna be weird...
Update on the tomatoes from yesterday: I had one in my sandwich today and it smelt and tasted like a proper tomato - you don't get that from the ones in the shops!
