The Things You Learn

I came down the stairs this afternoon and saw this fella sitting serenely amongst the Virginia Creeper (it's crept its way over half the neighbourhood) so I stopped to take a few pictures of the autumn colours. He wasn't alarmed but just stared each time the shutter closed.

When I googled the words cat and virginia creeper, I landed on this website that indicates that virginia creeper is actually toxic to cats!

I hope he wasn't hungry.
