Black Rain

It did not rain but it poured in Tokyo today. We were woken with thunder that literally shook the walls and torrential rain that bounced off the pavement and soaked your thighs so we decided to stay in and watch films on my laptop, eat even more greasy chinese food and banana+cream+chocolate crepes!! Yum!

It was so horrible that I just ran outside with my brolly and my camera for today's blip. This is a back alley behind our Ryokan. Actually I wandered around the, pitch black, back alleys for a while, something as a seasoned traveler I would never normally do, but Tokyo is such a safe city, you really do feel completely out of harms way.

There was also much celebrating that Ruby managed to make it on to the spotlight page, something I have been trying to do for AGES!
