Feeling small
So, this is me in the National Leprechaun Museum in Dublin.
In one room everything is oversized to make you feel as small as a wee leprechaun. It's good fun and I had a laugh.
It was also a surreal experience and today has been a bit like that! I spent a very long time this afternoon waiting to interview Snow Patrol about Arthur's Day celebrations in the city tomorrow and then had the Manic Street Preachers call me up for a chat on my mobile!
And then later that night while sat alone in a pub having dinner I had an old man come over to tell me part of his life story an inch or two from my face! One of the waitresses rushed over to make sure I was okay - he's notorious so I was told!
Then I met up with, effectively, a stranger from Match.com who lives in the city who spent a very long time telling me about a football coach's brilliant autobiography and battle with alcoholism. A man sitting next to us, in a very timely fashion, fell backwards off his chair and rolled along the floor and smacked his red face against the bar.
Rather bemused by it all I got back to my hotel and was then told I'd need to be on a red carpet tomorrow night for a couple of hours interviewing celebrities arriving for the Arthur's Day celebrations! Talk about a mental day!
