Rhododendron

Another shot from the Spring garden - this time the Rhodendron President Roosevelt named after Theodore Roosevelt, 26th President of the United States.

The bush has clusters of these vibrant flowers, on the left of the picture is the bud getting ready to open. The foliage is verigated with yellow and green markings - beautiful when it rains as these colours liven up especially in winter when there are no flowers.

I'm late uploading this as its now Thursday morning, breakfast time. Its cool with blue sky and big puffy clouds and the sun is shining. Grocery day for Mum and I.

Its allergy season here and we've had winds full of pollen. I couldn't use the computer last night as my eyes were stinging and very senstive to light - I crashed on the bed with a migraine caused from straining my eyes. Spring is such a beautiful season but it brings problems with it. I am behind with comments but will visit your journals when I feel up to it - might be in short doses.

Have a great day for all those heading off to work and a wonderful evening for those of you at the end of Wednesday :))
