Not Pretty

This photo was taken at about 5.30 this morning. My ankle was aching, itchy and was so hot that it woke me up. I came downstairs to get some paracetemol. I was stung by a wasp about a week ago and although I wasn't particularly bothered with it at the time, I'd been scratching away at it. Now it was infected.

I phoned the surgery at 8 and got an 8.30 appointment. How handy! Armed with antibiotics, I hope to clear up the swelling soon.
