Faces I work with (3)

This is Nick. I have known Nick in Edinburgh for about 12 years. He is fiendishly clever - a philosopher with a special liking for Kierkegaard. He ended up in a senior post in the banking industry - then left it at the height of the troubles to pursue work with more value - even although that cost big time financially.

His son starts at St John's college here in Cambridge next week. But I ran into him outside Westminster this afternoon - just after I had taken a nice long walk down the Backs - and, of course, blipped the iconic view of King's College from the riverside (opposite from last week).
