Chess

This evening we went to see Chess at the playhouse. I loved the music although I didn't know any of it except "I know him so well" which is the famous number. It was generally of a very high standard (not all productions that make it to Edinburgh are) but I didn't manage to understand a single work Freddie (one of the male leads) sung... Not sure if he didn't have very good diction or the sound guy had just chopped all the high frequencies off, but it was like he was singing powerfully through some socks!

An enjoyable evening - more so since we had dinner before hand and a beer afterwards with C and her dad. Thanks for your company guys!
