SightSeeING

Well fresh air was certainly called for, after a weekend so far of car journeys from and to underground car-parks and taxi journeys to and from bars, restaurants and clubs.

Brunch was at Cafe Kafka where we all indulged in a very nourishing and delicious bowl of pasta followed by coffee and cupcakes. Jean and Rebecca joined us and we de-briefed the previous evening using the camera to recall certain key events! We walked up the hill to the Old Town, where the ING bank were using the prime location to advertise themselves, which we had fun and games with, much to the amusement of passers-by! We bundled ourselves up in a horse-drawn carriage for a totally touristy traipse around the Old and New Towns, to parts that we didn't visit when they came out last winter.
That was then rewarded with a final bit of Sephora and Inglot shopping before a quick beer, going down ok for some, not so for others and then home for a lovely and quiet evening with home-made curry and all the trimmings.

A perfect weekend - just missing one little ingredient in the form of Rach - but plenty of other opportunities, hopefully.
