86 Cranborne Road
This is where my grandparents used to live.
If I stare at this picture long enough I can see my Nan & Granddad standing waiting to meet us.I used to like going to visit.
Nan in her pinny with a broom always keeping the front neat. Granddad always smart in a shirt and trousers.
Outback was granddads shed where he kept an Aladdin's cave, whether it be a tool or a padlock he had it down there somewhere.
My Nan died a few years back and my Granddad moved up north with family.
The house was sold to an Indian doctor and his daughter who was a friend of the family.
I found out today its now owned by a polish family.
Today I visited one last time as I never need to go back.
We buried my granddad today, he is now resting with his beloved Eileen.
I dedicate this Blip to him. He will be missed but never forgotten.
RIP George Harry Dykes sleep well.
