Princess Pie

Today I was the perfect Mother and made a pie. I've not made a pie since I was a child living at home, so for me this was a big deal.

With freshly purchased steak, mushrooms, onions, garlic and chilli from the local butcher I placed all the ingredients into the slow cooker to cook and release the most delicious smells...mmmm.

I then rolled some puff pastry (ok...this was shop bought but you can't hold that against me!) and placed the goodness inside and covered it over. The finishing touch was done by Miss L who rolled and cut the heart shape and placed in lovingly onto the pie.....'Princess Pie' she declared.

It was so tasty!
