Prayer Bump*

This is Aiyeed, whom I pass most mornings on the way to the bus that takes me to work. He's been driving his rickety old taxi around Maadi for 26 years. I took a picture of him a while back, which I promised to print off for him but never got round to. He's been chasing me for it all this week, but I couldn't quite manage to articulate that it wasn't that great a picture so I had deleted it. Instead, I offered to take another one, and this is it. He seemed to like it, and requested an A3 sized print for his house! I must remember to do that tomorrow.

Three things happened at work today which are worth recording:

1. The Business Course got off to a flying start.
2. Pugface's bluff was called, and she's hopefully on the way out.
3. Hired-By-The-Chairman colleague expressed concern that the audio material for his course is on CDs rather than cassettes. He is concerned because he doesn't know how to use CDs. Jesus wept.

*That wee mark on his head is caused by praying, so I'm led to believe.
