Rusty Ivy

I had to take my niece to the navy recruiting office in Redruth for an interview today and had an hour to kill so went hunting for old mine buildings to photograph. I got some nice traditional shots but my favourite was this, which is a foot long iron bolt in a slab of Granite. You cant see much of the rusty old iron now as the ivy is slowly taking over but it does make we wonder what huge machine this bolted to the ground.
