Zoe

Meet Zoe, she's 5 and my son met her today at a bar. We were there as it was the final event (a BBQ) in the med school reunion that we've been attending in Dunedin.

Zoe and Adam met playing pool. In fact they were watching other people playing pool, but being 5 you really have to have a go. So we fed the table some money and with much excitement the balls came out. The game commenced, or at least trying to see over the table to hit the ball commenced. Adam actually did pretty well and even sank quite a few. Zoe on the other hand pretty much "lost it" and became somewhat disillusioned with the game.

Instead she chose to sit on top of an adjacent bar table and periodically throw tantrums. That's one the great things about being 5, you can (almost) get away with them ;-)

Once the event had wound up we left to drive back to Christchurch, but unfortunately the weather turned bad meaning our planned stop at the Moeraki Boulders didn't eventuate.

So instead of boulders and beaches, you got to meet Zoe ;-)
