Flipside

A Dahlia slowly withering....I just love aged petals. I'm not sure why, but the textures always fascinate me. I'm lucky to have access to so many dahlia's this time of year and with the evening light and the warm sun beaming down on me I felt invigorated as I photographed these very special flowers. Soon they will be gone and we will have to wait another year to enjoy their beauty.
