Hoping you'll see...

I hope your sunset was as significant for you as it was for me today. I would consider the sun to be a good friend of mine. When its presence is absent, so tends to be the brightness of my day. Well, not in every case, but with fall approaching, I found myself wondering... where exactly WAS summer this year? Some seemed grateful for the cooler temperatures and the wind. Me? Not so much.

I love sitting out and watching the sunset--wherever I may be. It brings the end of one day (today wasn't the nicest day so I was glad to see it come to an end), and awakens the soul with another fresh start. Each day is a new chance to look at the smiling sun and be thankful. So, dear sun, I am thankful.
