tuff schists; jersey of win!

what do you get when a bunch of big canadian geologists think they're funny? a hockey team!

tuff - consolidated volcanic ash, composed largely of fragments produced directly by volcanic eruption.

schist - a large group of coarse-grained metamorphic rocks which readily split into thin plates or slabs as a result of the alignment of lamellar or prismatic minerals.

this is my dad's old hockey jersey, which i have now stolen from him. dad's old number? #1 for a reason!
