EVERYONES Guilty Pleasure

This pleasure is often
Taken for granted,
Taken advantage of,
Taken in excess,
and Every one of you reading this right now is guilty of enjoying this pleasure.


Electricity.


Myself especially though. I am on the computer so long each day, our household keeps the hall light on at night, I always use a hair dryer to dry my hair (and sometimes my paintings or crafts), I have tonnes of AA rechargables, camera batteries, and flash unit batteries that I charge up when empty, I peek in the oven billions of times instead of keeping it shut when cooking, I stand stupidly in front of the open fridge deciding what I want instead of just goin in and grabbing it, I do large loads of laundry and use the dryer almost %95 percent of the time, and loads of other energy sucking things that we barely even realise we do.


My guilty pleasure FEEDS my other pleasures. Like... toast, my computer, hot water, my ipod, and the very camera I used to take the picture!

I would be willing to bet that almost whatever guilty pleasure you have, you get it because of electricity. Be it a direct usage, or that your guilty pleasure was created using electricity, for example a printed book or a cup of coa coa.



You cannot escape your need for power.
