So today I had my new door fitted and the work is now completed (and the bank balance is considerably lighter!). It looks lovely though and I am sure the double glazing will make a difference to both the heating, noise and security of the house. Job done, anyway, and I don't need to think about that any more.

Talking of jobs, I sent off an application form today for the post of Data Quality Manager and Cataloguer at the library where I work. Fingers crossed - think I stand more chance with this one than with the last application I made.

And another bit of good news - I found out today that my dissertation was awarded another prize. Amazing! Did no-one else write a dissertation this year?
However, the cheque will be very welcome ;)
