Mispelus Germanica

Another fruit blip. It is dark outside so I picked a few to put on display on the kitchen sink.

These medlars are strange fruit. Inedible until they're almost rotten inside. The tree is a healthy strong grower.

I may make a chutney out of them, this winter.
