Flower girl

A strange day weatherwise - impressive clouds and silver linings on the way to work; hot and humid with sunshine when I returned, now grey and clammy. This blip was taken around 3pm when the sun was blazing and Wiebke, our wwoofer from Germany, was in the thick of the herb bed! She busily weeded, cut back all herbs, dug over the bed, then applied a generous mixture of compost and manure - and planted a few spring bulbs too.
Vincent was busy carting manure and trying to re-discover the path which had disappeared under bog grass and other nasties,
The manure - which they freshly collected this morning - has the distinction of coming from a horse previously owned by the Aga Khan!! We have high hopes for it!!
