Someone's coming

I had to go to Kendal today, and after the business, took Bob up to a viewpoint overlooking Kendal. It is to the west of Kendal off the Underbarrow Road and is a limestone ridge walk. The views are stunning: to the east, Kendal; to the north west, the Lakes and to the south, Morecambe Bay.
At the highest point of the ridge is a shelter called locally "the Mushroom". When you see it you'll know why. It is essentially a cross of walls with seating and a roof on top. You are bound to find shelter from the wind in one of the quadrants of the cross. This is what I was doing whilst I fiddled with my camera, when Bob obviously heard someone coming.
There was no-one there!
