Conkers!

Well today is feeling decidedly autumnal so I thought this photo would be a good representative of this. With a gust of wind it had just fallen out of the tree and bounced out of its shell as it hit the ground.

Random conker fact for the day:
The first recorded game of Conkers using horse chestnuts was on the Isle of Wight in 1848

Interesting....or maybe not, maybe a sign of how bored I am today and how I wished I had booked today off work to get over the weekends antics!

I fell asleep in the car on the way to work this morning, thankfully I wasn't the driver but H's cupcakes perked my up on a sugary high which has now crashed?time for a strong coffee I think!
