This village is cut off from the world by a 5k deathly road that nearly killed our little Kia on the way down. The community all works together in partnership with "the lodge." Music, food, hikes to see the cave paintings, horseback rides, and reclamation of the eroded soil for sustainable crops are a few of the major activities. Marisa disappeared early tonight so Laura and I stayed up with the other bar flies around the fire and watched an 80s recording of Paul Simon and Ladysmith Black Mambazo performing in Zimbabwe.
