Ruissalo Botanical Garden

I visited the botanical garden of Ruissalo for the first time. Lovely place with several different types of gardens and very interesting greenhouses. I was very impressed especially about the waterlily room of the greenhouse and the huge pumpkins in the garden.

This is one of the many new plant acquaintances: a japanese anemone. In Finnish it's called syysvuokko i.e. autumn anemone. As all wild anemones in Finland are spring flowers, it was very nice to meet an autumn anemone. Even if it is a garden flower.
