031/365 - Smiley Dog

I was out driving around today and I saw this dog sitting in the bushes. I was able to get a few shots, and this one was by far my favorite. I've never seen a dog smile like this before. To be honest, I initially thought that he was a neighborhood dog, but after he posed for me, he got up and I realized that his back paw was hurt. (He wasn't putting any weight on it.) By the time I realized it, though, he was heading into the woods...pretty quickly for a dog on three legs. I hope to see him again, because I'd really like to help him.
