Get a Move on!
Perfect weather for a bit of Playstation action today.
The new Move motion controllers for the PS3 work really well. They're hyper-sensitive to even the tiniest movements and feel like a big step forward from the Wii controllers. Even the big shiny glow balls on the end serve more than a decorative feature as they change colour and provide even more feedback when you're using them. There's also less chance of getting battered over the napper with one as they're very visible when being used.
I've had a play at building some towers with bricks and a bit of frisbee golf and I watched the young 'uns chop away at each other with swords and playing Ping-Pong. Just like the Wii these do draw in the whole family more than the PS3 on its own and we've had a good afternoon playing around with them. Of course, as we were playing the frisbee golf and I was trying to help the kids out with some expert tuition, Samantha pointed out it would probably be easier to actually grab the 'real' frisbee from the shed and throw it around a big empty field for a while, and more beneficial exercise wise too.
It must be wonderful to be right all the time. And anyway, it was pouring with rain. So there.
