Harvest 2

Still in Devon, cooking, entertaining relatives and enjoying as much sleep as possible. This evening I went out with a basket and collected apples, a marrow, rainbow chard and a few herbs to cook when we get home. The veg are so fresh they're almost giving out light. Makes me happy (if a little guilty about the state of my own, ravaged garden, ignored this year due to our heavy touring schedule)...I love this type of English apple with a passion and at this time of year I can't get enough of them.
