Dinner Anyone?

While biking to Belpech this morning we came across a field of at least 300 pintades! I think we call them guinea fowl in the U.S. They are really bizarre birds. As you approach them. they move en masse in some random direction -- it may be parallel to you, diagonal to you, or away from you -- all the while making a really horrible squawking noise. And their smell is about as pleasant as their squawk.

Did I mention we're having one for dinner?
