The stunning autumnal colours - reds,oranges,yellows and copper

the smell of wet bracken and leaves, damp and aromatic

the tatste of a truly sweet bramble.............mmmmm heaven!

the sound of the waterfall crashing onto ancient granite rocks

and the sharpness of the green unopened conkers in my hand as I carry them home,

and in my rucksack, a bag of unidentified fungi.

will it be a mushroom omelette tonight or a tomato and herb one?
