Mapuia, early morning

After several days of high winds and hard rain, it was great to wake up to a calm and clear spring morning.

I went for a walk before 7am. I took this shot from the Miramar Heights, looking west to Mapuia, Mt Victoria, and, in the distance, the high hills that form the western rim of Wellington harbour.
