O'Brian's Flying Circus

Had a great day at Dunsfold Wings and Wheels today.

This guy tried to land on the back of a moving truck - nutter!

Was looking forward to seeing the Red Arrows but unfortunately we're in a lovely British summer so the heavens opened just as they waited on the runway. We all had to run for the shelter of the car (cold winds, rain and only a t-shirt didn't keep the weather out) but had a great show from the comfort of our car. After the Red Arrows the rain cleared enough and the heated seats had dried our jeans out enough to brave the element's and watch some more nutters do some wingwalking....

.... just how do you decide to become a wingwalker? Do you wake up one day and realise that the only thing that will make your life worthwhile is strapping yourself onto the top of a plane and then trying to get your leg above your head, all the while grinning and waving to the crowd?

On another note, we also saw a guy doing stunts in a glider, how he did it I don't know but he crash landed at the next airshow he took part in. Fortunately he was fine, just a bit shaken.

Are all airshow people bonkers? Quite possibly, but it must be fun :-)
