Beautiful morning and a chilly wind. juno and I had no company so we walked through the young trees enjoying the moment.

Eco son was away mountain biking, so pack lunch and breakfast made for the young man.

I was excited today as my tea bushes had come and it was off to the allotment to prepare a plot and plant them out. They are currently under a glass structure to protect them a wee bit. If we ever get tea will will have to come up with a name.

Back home and I made raspberry jam, prepared all the ingredients for green tomato chutney.

Eco mum and I have a new life, the kids scarper at the weekends so we had a lovely afternoon stroll with Juno up the hill, loads of dogs around this time.

Back home and chutney on, beetroot pickled, I was going to make tea but the kids started calling their mum wanting an indian carry out. She is far too soft.

Just finished jarring the chutney and preparing for bramble jelly which I will start tomorrow.

All this activity to try and make space in the freezer for winter soups.
