Chateau de Saumur

There's been a chateau here since the 12thC, and possibly earlier. It's our local market town and a place we love. Next weekend there's the annual grape harvest here, where the public help to pick the grapes and amid much pomp and circumstance, assist the pressing of the fruit to make a fresh, cold grape juice! Very refreshing and a fantastic day out for all the family. The pressure's on to take, and then pick just one image from the day to show you all just what it's all about!
