This Pictish portrait is in the Royal Scottish Museum in Chamber Street. They are still converting the place so it will be a while before I get to see my beloved Ivy Wu exhibits again. In the mean time they are doing their best with exhibitions and shows.

At the moment the Lewis Chessmen are on display with some well thought out background and insight into their origin and history. However the wee men are all behind glass and the exhibition was very crowded. So you are getting this carving instead.
