Early morning light

Managed my 50 mile challenge today riding from Weston Village to the Caen Locks in Devizes along the Kennet and Avon canal. This might not sound far to some but for me was quite a distance.

I took this shot in Victoria park within about the first mile of my journey but the light was so beautiful I had to stop.

There are 29 locks that form the rise up into Devizes and they look amazing but as I discovered, they are quite hard to photograph - I even checked them out on the internet and I didn't think much of their shots.
It takes 6 hours to get your boat up or down this flight so no rush.

A great day with fantastic sunshine, I think I'm up for 60 next!
