Hair and Makeup....

....four segments, quick change artists, a bad fall, great recovery, amazing stage, smooth choreography, tight music, fun outfits, hours and hours of fittings, planning, gathering, phone calls, meetings, texting...FASHION SHOW!!! It is kind of like a wedding, lots of planning, coordination and in a flash, it is over! But it was fun. My girl and Lynnie did an fantastic job, along with the team of support, behind the scenes set-up and tear downs. Being in the show, I got a couple shots, the photography had to be put aside, I had to leave the documentation for others this time. I snapped a few shots....but for the most part, I was a model. But from the pix I did see, I think it is time to retire this old self and become part of the crowd. In the 11 years of the show, I have never seen one of them from a spectators perspective. Back stage is a bit harried, all of the sudden it is time to go back on, and you are still putting on some garment or shoe!!! I don't think people really realize what goes into an event like this. It is really great to see it all come together. The proof is in the after party, when you see all the smiling faces and people coming up to you "I want to buy the outfit you wore...or you looked great up there, what a wonderful show". I am so happy for my girl, she loves this stuff, I hope and pray that God will fulfill her desires and allow her to do this for a living one day!
