Clark Memorial Chapel

One of the areas that I've manage to stumble across recently is not very far from where I live and there are so many incredible photo opportunities there!

Todays photo is of Clarks Memorial Chapel located at The Pomfret School.
The Pomfret School is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory boarding and day school. It is absolutely gorgeous there!!

Clarks Chapel was built in memory of George Newhall Clark who graduated there in 1904. It was designed by notable architect Ernest Flagg and is modeled after a church in Pontefract, England, the town for which Pomfret is named.

You will probably see more photos of this chapel and the area from me....especially with it being so close and with Autumn coming! I imagine that it will be absolutely beautiful with the fall foliage!!
