1st Chrysanthemum

My dad is a keen gardener, unfortunately he only has a backyard. Years ago he had an allotment, he grew all sorts including Chrysanthemums, which he entered into local competetions and won on a regular basis. He has 2 greenhouses and a small plot at the bottom of our rather large garden, today he picked the first Chrysanthemums so I took this macro picture of the detail in the centre of the flower.
